Non-profits Look for New Ways to Shape Campaign
July 7, 2008
Non-profits or Lobbyists; I feel it’s more difficult than ever to make a distinction.
No outside organization has thrown a roundhouse punch this election season like the one Swift Boat Veterans for Truth delivered four years ago. But they’re quietly mobilizing, using small staffs and new technologies to stoke the public’s attention.

Like with all media, ’someone’ not ’some people’ are always in control.
Rant all you want in a public park. A police officer generally won’t eject you for your remarks alone, however unpopular or provocative. Say it on the Internet, and you’ll find that free speech and other constitutional rights are anything but guaranteed.

John McCain and the Keating Five
July 3, 2008
After reading this article and a few other on the “Keating Five Scandal,” it is my hope some reputable news organization does further digging into what exactly happened with Lincoln Savings & Loans, how much did it really cost the American people, and most importantly in this election year, what was McCain’s true role.

John McCain is not Equal to a New Bike
July 7, 2008
What a cool web site and such an interesting concept. These folks must be in advertising, well maybe not (otherwise I would have been inundated with ads). They have locked me in and I will probably be going to their web site every day for a few seconds worth of cute & simple humor.
Whether you care for John McCain or not, johnmccainisnotyournewbicycle.com is a great example of what you can do with a neat idea, domain name, and a quick little web site.
